A full face Ultherapy session treats the brow, the cheeks, the jawline and the neck together in 60 to 90 minutes. What it does across the face
The clinician maps the face into zones and runs lines of focused ultrasound at the depths the clinician chooses from the image, 1.5, 3.0 or 4.5 mm, all guided by the live image. The heat sets off the body's healing response, which builds new collagen, so the brow sits higher and the neck smooths, and in our clinical judgment the cheeks hold better and the jawline cleans up, as one natural change rather than a surgical result. Who it suits
In our experience the best candidates have skin from the late thirties to the sixties with mild to moderate laxity (loose skin) across the face, a body mass index of 30 or under, any skin type. Ultherapy is not surgery and does not lift heavy, hanging skin, and it does not add volume or remove fat. Cheeks that have lost volume need an injectable, which our doctor can provide, and a full double chin needs a fat plan first. The session and the result
Sixty to ninety minutes, with the comfort plan agreed beforehand: a brief deep heat and a deep ache with each line, strongest over bone. Redness for a few hours, swelling for a day or three, tenderness for up to two weeks; most people are back at work the same day, in our experience. The lift builds over three to six months, when we photograph it, and holds for around a year in our experience, with a repeat considered after 12 to 18 months.
