What it does

What the studies measured
In the study behind the 2012 clearance, 51 of 70 patients reached the lift threshold under the chin and on the neck, and reviewers who did not know which photograph was taken first saw improvement in 84% of those. In a 2014 study of 93 patients treated on the cheeks, the jawline and under the chin, blinded reviewers saw improvement in 58%, patients themselves in 66%, and among patients with a body mass index above 30 more than half showed no change against 12% of those at 30 or under. Loose skin, not fat
Ultherapy does not remove fat. A full double chin is fat first and skin second, and needs a different plan before Ultherapy tightens the skin over it; the clinician tests the area at the consultation by lifting it and says which you have. The session and the result
